Expedia (http://www.expediaaffiliate.com/) is a world leader in travel and technology, and provides FREE access to highly flexible APIs that power cutting edge websites, mobile apps, and much more. Some of the best travel applications on the market are powered behind the scenes by EAN (Expedia Affiliate Network) to book hotels, flights, and cars.

EAN provides APIs for the following areas:

Hotels:

The Hotel API is a robust application that delivers information and availability for over 95,000 hotels and vacation rentals worldwide where users search and book hotel reservations. The application offers a wide variety of parameters that can target or filter a search for the most relevant list of available hotels for each and every user. A comprehensive amount of details for each property can be pulled from descriptions, virtual tours, photo galleries, and nearby attractions. Reservations can be made directly through the API or you can deep link to our Private Label template.

Flights:

The Air API returns both standard flight results as well as preferred Expedia flights. The interface is used to search and display flight results, then submit the user's booking choices to the airlines through the EAN API system. Due to the airlines discontinuing commissions on flights, ONLY car rental and hotel bookings currently earn commissions. The Air API is available to US partners only at this time.

Car Rentals:

The Car Rentals API is a dynamic application for searching and booking car rental reservations. A detailed list of parameters are offered to call up as many rental options or as few as you wish. Specify searches by car company name, type of vehicle or vehicle equipment options. Book directly with the car rental suppliers through the EAN API or deep link to our Private Label template. The Car Rentals API is available for US partners only at this time.
